Kaumātua from throughout Te Rohe Potae o Tūhoe were treated to a weekend of fun, social activities, commemorative events, hui and wānanga.

Hosted by Te Kaokao o Takapau and funded by Te Puni Kōkiri and Mā Te Reo, invitations were issued to all Tuhoe Kaumātua to come together to celebrate their lives and honour Te Pure, a time of reaping benefits and bountiful harvests.
