The passing of the Whakarewarewa and Roto-a-Tamaheke Vesting Act 2009 has provided for iwi to participate in a mana whenua determination process to determine final allocation of the lands amongst Ngāti Whakaue and Tūhourangi Ngāti Wāhiao, once the land is vested in iwi. Read more »
