Hon Tariana Turia, Associate Minister of Social Development today launched Whānau Ora: Report of the Taskforce on Whanau-Centred Initiatives at Te Puni Kōkiri.
The Prime Minister also announced today that Minister Turia is the new Whānau Ora Minister.
The Minister acknowledged Taskforce members, Sir Mason Durie (Chair); Rob Cooper; Nancy Tuaine; Di Grennell and Suzanne Snively. “The Taskforce encourages us to consider a new approach which focuses on best outcomes for whanau with integrated delivery systems,” Hon Tariana Turia said.
