A specialist training scheme that targets young Māori at risk of becoming longterm unemployed, instead channelling their energies into performance, received Te Puni Kōkiri backing.

The Te Roopu o Tane Mahuta Trust provides skills training in Māori art and performance as well as part-time employment at the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve’s qualmark endorsed KōTane Māori Cultural Experience.
