Ngaruā

Fresh Aliance Entertainment Ltd is proud to present Ngaruā’s debut single Te Taikura.

The Ngaruā duo of Christine Waitai-Rapana (Ratana, Morehu) and Acushla Deanne O’Carroll (Ngaruahinerangi, Ngāti Ruanui, Te Ātiawa) compose and sing their waiata in te reo Māori.

Ngaruā’s self titled debut album due to hit the streets next month is a fusion of many different kaupapa that embrace both old and new instruments ranging from digitalised beats to live guitar, keyboard to ukulele and poi.

Fresh Alliance Entertainment Ltd is a client of Te Puni Kōkiri’s Business Facilitation Service and is committed to supporting rangatahi to realise their potential through music particularly in the Wellington region.

“We have a number of talented young artists working with us including Ngaruā and have made great progress in creating our own unique style in the studio and also in the way we communicate, administer and promote our business,” says Fresh Alliance Entertainment’s Lave Mauga.

“Ngaruā bring to the music front a certain attitude and staunchness with their songs, promoting te reo me ōna tikanga,” he says.
