Business Analyst, Whānau Ora

As the Business Analyst you will be working in part of a team involved with portfolios of investment funds, contracting, legal, research, monitoring and evaluation. You will be contributing to the delivery of performance reporting, evaluation, analysis, ministerial support, programme coordination, stakeholder engagement planning, and reviewing funding proposals.

Part of your responsibility as the Business Analyst will be to monitor and regularly report for DCEs, Regional Managers and relevant Investment Leads. You will work with the wider Investment team to identify and implement changes to processes and practices that will continuously improve the quality of the data outputs. You will be a team player, take satisfaction in supporting your colleagues on projects and developing productive relationships with external agencies as required.

To be successful in this role, you will most likely have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Sifting, sorting, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and information, including basic statistical knowledge
  • Focused and detailed, logical and systematic analysis skills
  • Have demonstrated a professional approach to undertaking tasks
  • Enjoy responsibility and have an eagle eye for detail
  • Excellent initiative and great PR skills
  • Flexible working style and able to manage competing priorities
