A report on the progress made in the implementation of recommendations made to the Crown by the Waitangi Tribunal.
Section 8I of the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975 requires the Minister for Māori Development to report to the House of Representatives each year on the progress being made in the implementation of recommendations made to the Crown by the Waitangi Tribunal. This report covers progress from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018, and includes a feature detailing the Crown’s progress in relation to the findings and recommendations of the Waitangi Tribunal’s report Ko Aotearoa Tēnei: A Report into Claims Concerning New Zealand Law and Policy Affecting Māori Culture and Identity (2011) (the Wai 262 report).
