Published on Friday, 22 January 2016

You can read a selection of stories from Kōkiri 33 in this edition of Kōkiritia.

When the magazine is released in time for Waitangi Day you can also read stories about Henare a stunning jewellery collection from Nerida Johnstone, the adventures of Te Wharekura o Mauao in Silicon Valley, a farming initiative in North Canterbury, and Te Awa Tupua – claim that took close to 148 years to reach a conclusion.

Meet Faine Maniapoto Kahia, who features on the cover of Kōkiri 33: aspiring race driver who dreams of being the first Māori to win Bathurst.

Since Kōkiri went to print, Faine tells us that he is going back to Asia where he’ll race in the Formula 4 South East Asia Championship Series 2016.
