2005 was a year of consolidation. We confirmed and embedded our Strategic Direction; developed the Māori Potential Approach, and its key component, the Māori Potential Framework; established the Information Advisor positions in our regional offices; started developing our Relationship Management Strategy; developed and implemented our People Capability and Knowledge Management Strategies, including work to improve our Information Technology support systems. 84 pages.

Te Puni Kōkiri was an organisation requiring change. Change has occurred. We created a new strategic direction: Māori succeeding as Māori; moving forward together to lead and influence the way government engages with Māori. In 2004, we released both our Strategic Direction and Decision Document: Change Programme. The Executive Leadership Team is tasked with leading Te Puni Kōkiri in a collective way and implementing our changed direction. 95 pages.
