Te Puni Kōkiri has published its Annual Report for the year ended 30 Hune 2026, outlining progress in the first full year of delivery under He Takunetanga Rautaki 2025–2029.

The Report highlights results across our five strategic priorities: Whānau Ora; Māori economic development and growth; monitoring and mentoring; Māori language and culture; and Iwi and Māori relations with the Crown.
These include a stronger evidence base for Whānau Ora, investment in Māori-led economic initiatives, improved oversight of Treaty settlement commitments, and continued work to strengthen te reo Māori and Māori Crown relationships.
The Report provides accountability for the public funding administered by Te Puni Kōkiri and shows how our work contributes to improved outcomes for whānau, Hapū, Iwi and Māori.
