Mana Mokopuna – Children’s Commissioner’s new Dear Children advocacy campaign is about recognising children’s safety as a significant social issue - one we all have a role in addressing. Dear Children was recently launched by the Children’s Commissioner, Dr Claire Achmad, and I’m responding to her call for this campaign to be shared as far and wide with New Zealand’s adults - it’s aimed at the general public.

As we head into the Christmas period, which brings added stressors for families and whānau, I encourage you to sign your name alongside Claire’s to pledge support for a safer future for our tamariki mokopuna.
