Te Puni Kōkiri is the Government’s principal policy advisor on Māori wellbeing and development.
As a small agency with a wide remit to support outcomes for tangata whenua, almost one-sixth of the population of Aotearoa New Zealand, Te Puni Kōkiri has to make careful choices about where to focus its efforts. Our three strategic priorities reflect the organisation’s intention to provide more focussed effort within a narrower work programme.
