The Māori Affairs Accord is a relationship agreement between the Minister of Māori Affairs, Te Puni Kōkiri and Waikato-Tainui.  It affirms the commitment of the Crown and Waikato-Tainui to restore and protect the health and wellbeing of the Waikato River as agreed to in the Waikato-Tainui (Waikato River) Deed of Settlement. The Māori Affairs Accord was signed on 16 November 2009.
