Annual Administrative & Support Services Benchmarking Report for the Financial Year 2014/15

The annual Benchmarking Administrative and Support Services programme for government agencies (BASS) helps provide performance insights by showing how agencies’ back office functions are performing over time. By tracking changes each year, we can see individual progress, relative to other agencies and international benchmarks.

The annual report is a key accountability document which all New Zealand Government departments are required to produce. It reports performance against the statement of intent and contains achievements for the year, performance against specific criteria, and audited financial statements.(Pursuant to S39 of the Public Finance Act).

Strategic Intentions 2014 - 2018

For Aotearoa/New Zealand to achieve its cultural, social and economic goals, it needs to achieve better results for iwi, hapū and whānau Māori. This means that Te Puni Kōkiri needs to have a sharper focus, increase its impact and be recognised as a valued partner both across the state sector and with Māori communities.

Annual Administrative & Support Services Benchmarking Report for the Financial Year 2013/14

The annual Administrative and Support Services Benchmarking programme for government agencies (BASS) helps provide performance insights by showing how agencies’ back office functions are performing over time. By tracking changes each year, we can see individual progress, relative to other agencies and international benchmarks.  The 2013/14 BASS agency report is the first report that participating agencies have been requested to publish.
