Recently Te Arawa landowners and whānau engaged with experts in the fields of vermiculture, waste management and sustainable communities.

This was the focus of one of a series of hui for Te Arawa landowners, supported and promoted by Te Puni Kōkiri in partnership with SCION, Agriessentials and Te Arawa Lakes Trust. Participants learned about composting technologies, organic-based fertilisers, and healthy soil profiles for sustainable growth.
