Te Wānanga o Aotearoa Graduation Ceremony held at the Toimairangi – School of Māori Visual Arts in Hastings recently was attended by the Minister of Māori Affairs, Parekura Horomia, and renowned Māori artist June Northcroft-Grant.

Both guest speakers encouraged the graduates to combine their art skills and learning with other professions and opportunities that positively promote Māori. Te Puni Kōkiri has been working with Te Wānanga o Aotearoa to support their activities and artists at various functions including exhibitions.
