We want to ensure that our site is widely accessible, so we have designed it to meet the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and the New Zealand Government Web Standards and Recommendations. Below are some of the accessibility features of the site.
You can navigate this site without a mouse. We have provided the following keyboard shortcuts to commonly used sections of the site.
Note: Some browers do not support the numbers on the Number Pad being used as Accesskeys. Use the numbers at the top of the keyboard.
You can make the text on this site bigger or smaller to suit you if your browser supports text resizing (i.e. recent versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera).
We use print stylesheets so that when you print, only the content on the page is printed and not the site navigation or banner. The text and layout of the printed content have also been optimised for readability.
Long documents are sometimes best printed using the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format which is available on the title page of most key documents. This symbol indicates that a document is available to download in PDF format. To view and print PDF files you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free to download.
If you have problems accessing any of the information on this website, please email us at webmaster@tpk.govt.nz or contact us through our Head Office contact details. We will do our best to get you the information you need in a format that is useful for you.
